This position is charged with the oversight of the Operations and Maintenance activities of the company's Generation Department and provides leadership and management for the department's personnel. The incumbent oversees the safe and efficient maintenance and operations of stean, gas turbines and oil fired boilers, waste heat boilers, diesel engines, generators and all the auxillary and ancillary equipment needed to keep a power plant in service.

The successful candidate is expected to monitor all significant measures of plant performance and develop and initiate plant in service.

The duties of this position include but are not limited to ensuring that environmental protection expectations are established and met, meeting plant efficiency and availability targets, ensuring that effective root cause analysis is performed and corrective actions are implemented, and developing and achieving the generation department capital and O&M budgets.
