Freeport, Grand Bahama - Diplight Media presents "Knockin Duh Conch Style" The first martial arts film to ever come out of The Bahamas. The film premieres on Thursday, May 19th, 2011 at Galleria Cinemas in Freeport, Grand Bahama It was written, shot, and directed/edited by Devron Pinder, and was produced by Janson E. Saunders.The film features students of The Bai Sung Institute and displays the Four Winds of Kung Fu Style, the only fully authentic and internationally recognized Bahamian style of Kung Fu in the world. The art was founded by Grandmaster Kenneth P Lewis from Grand Bahama.
Film Synopsis: A young man studies Kung Fu in starting in China and travels the world, and decides to come back to The Bahamas and teach what he has learned. Because of his superior skill and his consistently beating them in tournaments, the other martial art schools on the island form an underground “triad” to eliminate him.
