FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - The Islands of the Bahamas, has announced that the newly unveiled Bahamas Sport Fishing Network (BSFN) website will greatly enhance and strengthen, the voice of Bahamas sports fishing interests and opportunities to enthusiasts globally.
Making the recent announcement, Earl Miller, General Manager of Vertical Markets for The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and Aviation (BMOTA) expressed “thanks to Mr. Steven Cartwright, Sales Director of the BSFN and his hardworking team for producing a top notch, comprehensive tool that is easy to navigate and will provide educational, exciting and important information, including current (daily) fishing reports on all Islands of The Bahamas.”
The BMOTA spokesman enlarged that, the website will prove beneficial to local Bahamians in the fishing industry to promote their goods, services and experiences, while simultaneously providing a site for year round information on fishing in the islands.
“The website is an example of private sector and government combining efforts towards a goal that will ultimately benefit The Islands Of The Bahamas as a whole, Mr. Miler boasted. He also praised the owners of the site for being, “proactive young Bahamians who have taken advantage of this lucrative market and turned it into a dynamic investment opportunity.”
During the unveiling of the new site, it was also disclosed that BMOTA and BSFN along with various public and private organizations, will be announcing a series of Bahamas fishing tournaments in the coming weeks including a junior angler tournament. Finalized details on the tournaments will be posted and available at www.BahamasSportFishingNetwork.com.
Also making remarks during the announcement, Mr. Cartwright described his site as one that “will allow for anglers to post fishing reports and share information through social network. Resident and visiting anglers will be able to access a vast array of information for planning a fishing adventure and for visiting The Bahamas for a sport fishing vacation.”
