Governor General Sir Arthur Foulkes and Lady Foulkes attend Independence concert on Grand Bahama

FREEPORT, Grand Bahama -- On the occasion of the Thirty-Seventh Anniversary of the Independence of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, on Monday, July 5, the Grand Bahama Independence Committee held a Black Tie Concert under the Patronage of Governor General Sir Arthur Foulkes and Lady Foulkes, at the Freeport Bible Church on West Atlantic Drive.

 The evening was filled with excitement and entertainment by guest artists Joanna and Lee Callender, who sang The Holy City, to the delight of the audience. Other artists and choirs included the Grand Bahama Youth Choir, directed by Kevin Tomlinson; Inter-denominational Mass Choir, Grand Bahama Chorale, Da boys, and Ms. Bertia Ingraham who sang "Let's Change the World.
