In an effort to promote all that is positive throughout our communities, the Western Link Community Magazine was established in early 2009, in West End, Grand Bahama, Bahamas. The paper aimed to highlight various aspects of our Bahamian Culture and what makes us uniquely Bahamian. It is our desire to find stories that are timeless and will be on the minds of our readers long after they would have read our stories. That aim continues as of today, and in an effort to further the reach of the Western Link, Publishers decided to take it to the Web in March, 2010.
Among the topics that will be highlighted are areas such as religion, social activity, community news, Bahamian culture, family ties and Current events. Everyone has a story and we wish to tell those stories, hopefully inspiring our readers to take action in their own lives and their communities, by making a positive contribution in some form or the other. Each community is only as good as its residents, and with many wonderful residents, we will have beautiful communities and a dynamic country.

The Western Link was established in January 2009. A publication of Match Point Investments, we started out as a community paper magazine, having distributed several editions during that same year. It is our desire to share news and information that is positive, educational and uplifting. We aim to highlight what makes us proud as a people and that includes our beliefs and values as a Christian nation, spending time with family and friends, being a good neighbour, and enjoying our Bahamian culture.
