Freeport, Grand Bahama - Thanks to a busy winter season the Festival Noel Committee did not get to officially congratulate the 2009 Chef Noel winner until late last week. Out of six participating restaurants: Shenanigans, Joe Ret Catering, Island Java, Livity Vegetarian Take-out & Juice Bar, Social Butterfly Catering and Catholic High School Catering, one team emerged as the winner of the annual Chef Noel at the GB BNT annual fundraiser.
Owner, Maurisa Glinton, of Social Butterfly Catering was triumphant in this her first time entering Festival Noel, she is pictured receiving her winners plaque and certificate (left) along with Cecila Bodie, BNT Rand Nature Centre Administrator.
"We were thrilled to win," said Glinton," Festival was a great opportunity for us to showcase our talents - and let Grand Bahamians know what we do." Social Butterfly catering also received an advertising package from Bahama Buy & Sell & Cool 96, Chef Jackets from the Uniform Place and a gift from Bristol Wines and Spirits...
