FREEPORT, Grand Bahama – The Manor House lobby of the Our Lucaya Beach and Golf Resort is now home to the largest gingerbread house on island.
The confectionary showpiece stands at six feet tall and weighs over a thousand pounds. Guests and those passing through the resort’s lobby can enjoy the smell of fresh baked gingerbread and children are welcome to marvel at the sight of the edible building.
The culinary team used approximately 700 pounds of gingerbread, 300 pounds of icing and 200 pounds of candy to complete the house which stretches eight feet wide.
