FREEPORT, Grand Bahama -- The Festival Noel Committee would like to congratulate the Chef Noel winners for 2010 - Grand Bahama Catholic High School.
"We are very excited today to announce that these young men and one woman won our annual competition at Festival Noel," said Karin Sanchez, GB BNT Chairman. "In fact all of the students from the four schools: GB Catholic High, St.George's, Eight Mile Rock and The College of The Bahamas were amazing. We received so many comments from our guests, who all noted that the students were engaging, curtious and great promotors of their work."
This year's Chef Noel winner will receive a plaque for their school as well as a gift certificate for $500 from the GBPA towards their culinary department needs. The very excited teacher, Chef Silbert Evans, noted "we are already planning for next year's challenge, this is a great inspiration for us!"
