Helping Grand Bahama Island after Hurricane Dorian

Hurricane Dorian—the worst hurricane in history to impact The Bahamas—has devastated Grand Bahama Island and our neighboring Abaco islands and cays. Countless volunteers from the 5 Rotary Clubs of Grand Bahama Island, a valuable part of Rotary District 6990, are bringing relief to those who are in dire need in the aftermath of this unprecedented Category 5 storm.

We are beginning phase 2 of our operation and while we will continue to deliver food, toiletries, and medical supplies for immediate needs, we are preparing to obtain larger items to help rebuild the community. This included fans, generators, trucks, buses,
and building supplies.

Rotary International District 6990 has a non-profit fund, The Robbins Fund, which was established over twenty years ago to aid in Disaster Recovery Efforts.
Make your monetary contribution at the site below.

We are grateful for the international aid that is arriving and will need long-term help on the road to rebuilding this beautiful community of Grand Bahama Island that has also become a
beloved second home to so many around the world.

Thank you for donating to Rotary6990.org
