Freeport, Bahamas - Miss Valdeana Bain was crowned Miss Global Bahamas on August 7th at a pre-show of her wardrobe for the upcoming international pageant in Jamaica in September. The Miss Grand Bahama Beauty Pageant Organization has recently acquired the franchise for the Miss Global Bahamas franchise. The Miss Global International Pageant was formerly the Miss Commonwealth beauty Pageant and is the brain child of Mr. Lachu Ramchandani who was on hand for the event.

The reigning Miss Global International is Azaria Clare of Nassau, Bahamas and Miss Clare was on hand at the reception to crown Valdeana Bain and offered her words of advice and encourage on her pending travel and representation. Miss Bain was selected as Miss Grand Bahama, Tempestt Stubbs will be in China the same time period for the Miss Friendship International, so therefore the organization had to select another representative and Miss Bain was most fitting.
