Grand Bahama to Get U.S. Stem Cell Clinic

The Bahamas Ministry of Health has reportedly given the green light to a US investor to open a clinic specializing in stem cell therapy in Grand Bahama.
Okyanos Heart Institute will reportedly invest $5 million on equipment and construction to bring the island's first formidable medical tourism product to life.
The clinic will spend $3 million on equipment, and a further $2 million on construction and other related costs.
Geared towards "last chance" cardiac patients, the procedure involves the extraction of stem cells from body fat.
